Creepy Talker Robot Sounds Weird

“Cage of Death” Lets You Swim with Crocodiles

A new attraction at Crocosaurus Cove, located in Australia, lets guests swim with crocodiles “using nothing but 4cm of acrylic plastic to keep them safe.” More pics after the jump.

As the croc gnashes its teeth against the cage, you piss your pants, the wife takes some pics, and we once again reaffirm why dolphins are actually the dominant species on the planet.

$6232 Nuclear Energy - The World’s Most Expensive Amazon Kindle Book

At $6232 on Amazon, this Nuclear Energy book for the Amazon Kindle is the most expensive ever. It’s basically “a three-volume compendium of technical essays on energy.” Product page.

It is 602 pages long, but since the Kindle edition of James Joyce’s Ulysses, clocking in at 816 pages, costs less than a buck, that’s not much of an excuse.

Microsoft China has equipped their company bus with a host of workstations to ensure that no productivity is lost when employees go on company-sponsored trips. More pics after the jump.

In what seems to be an attempt at greater productivity, Microsoft China executives are now being driven to work in busses that are equipped with computers that clock you in the moment you log in.

Fire Flower

Unlike other fire extinguishers, the Fire Flower from Japantrendshop “looks just like a decorative silk flower, but can be used to put out oil and grease fires with ease.” Available now, priced at $37. Video after the break.

To use the Fire Flowers, just keep them attached to a nearby surface using the included magnets. In the case of an oil/grease fire, simply place the flowers into the pan and they will instantly take over, covering the oil with a film that stops the burning.
