Sea-Quad Amphibious Vehicle Can Go From Land to Sea

Powered by sails, the Sea-Quad amphibious vehicle can go from land to sea without any modifications. Riders “steer the Sea-Quad with a bar connected to a kite above you.” Pricing start at $13,950. Video after the break.

But really, this seems like the kind of thing that beach resorts will rent out, so hopefully people will get to try it out without dropping that much money on owning one.

Strange, Dangerous Double Bike

This could quite possibly be the strangest bicycle we’ve ever come across, in which “the upper wheel is generating all the momentum - transferring the energy like a set of gears.”

At any rate, you would have time to think about how stupid this all is as you hit a pebble in the road and fall.

Homemade F-35 Jet

Not just a model, this homemade F-35 jet by Arthur van Poppel can actually be driven “like a car and the level of detail is absolutely amazing.” Video after the break. More pics after the jump.

He even added a second seat on top and other modifications that Lockheed Martin can’t possibly match, like spitting confetti off its engine exhaust or the horrible built-in soft rock soundtrack.

There’s a display describing the relationship between the amount of energy created and stored. This provides the child with real time data encouraging them to pedal faster.

The Unicycle

The unicycle just got high-tech with this self-balancing model, which “can be steered by leaning left to right and uses Segway-style gyroscopes to power you forwards and backwards.” Video after the break.

Not a new idea by any stretch, but Focus Design is actually crazy enough to be working on bringing this thing to market. Focus hopes to do a limited run of ten SBUs next month, at $1,500 a month.

$100,000 Confederate Fighter Motorcycle on The Today Show

Now that you’ve seen the Confederate Fighter Motorcycle images, check out a live preview of it, courtesy of The Today Show. One caveat: it’s priced at $100,000. Video after the break.

And while we don’t want to ruin the punchline for anyone, let’s just say that no one peels out with the bike…though Merideth Viera is every bit as frisky as usual.

Guitar Boat

Created by musician Josh Pyke, this interesting Guitar Boat is “prominently featured in the video for his new single Make You Happy.” More pics after the jump.

Unfortunately, it is not an actual, playable instrument—which is just as well..it appears to be an accurate replica of his favorite guitar.
