eBay Watch: GTA4’s “Key to Liberty City”

For $285 or more on eBay, you could pick up your very own Grand Theft Auto 4’s “Key to Liberty City”, which was only given to gamers who completed 100% of the achievements within the first 7-days of its release. Auction page. More pics after the jump.

The fuzzy jewelry box is about 7 inches wide by 4 1/2 inches in depth. On the inside top of this case is the Rockstar logo. The key itself is 5 inches long. The key says “THE KEY TO LIBERTY CITY” above the rockstar logo, with “MCMXCVIII” underneath the same logo.

Ferrari Zobin Concept is F1-Inspired

Simply put, the Ferrari Zobin’s “rear end looks cribbed from the one-off P4/5 produced by Pininfarina, but the front end places the Enzo’s F1-inspired nose amidst the contortions of a metal band that swoops around to create both the front spoiler and front fenders.” More pics after the jump.

The headlights are suspended from the metal band and seem to float beside center fuselage. This is a single-seater concept that’s powered by a fictional engine of unknown cylinder count and displacement located amidship.

When it comes to broken iPhones, pocket lint probably isn’t the first thing that comes to mind when trying to pin the problem. That’s exactly what this Popular Mechanics editor found. One more picture after the jump.

Only after I had dismantled the motherboard, separated the screen and delicately pealed free the “home” button’s backplate from the adhesive that had affixed it to the machine’s front glass could I see what had disabled my iPhone. Lint.

Called the “iPod Ghetto Accessory”, this concept is comprised of an “iPod with classic earbuds, two toothpicks, and four cups.” No word yet on availablity, but you can probably make it yourself with supermarket-sourced supplies. One more picture after the jump.

The YBox2 from ThinkGeek is “based around the multiprocessing Parallax Propeller Chip and features a built-in Ethernet controller, video output, infrared remote control sensor, full-color status LED, and even a piezo speaker.” Video after the break. More pics after the jump.

If you aren’t already familiar with the Propeller, it’s a unique multiprocessor programmable in a built-in high-level language called Spin as well as assembly language. Each of its eight cores can access common memory and an array of I/O pins that can be configured to talk to almost anything.
