VIDEO: New Speed Racer Movie Trailer Shows Ninjas

In this latest Speed Racer movie trailer, “we get a look at the young, daydreaming Speed; racetracks that look like life-sized Hot Wheels playsets; Racer X being mysterious; and attacking ninjas.” Video after the break.

It’s very tempting to dismiss the Wachowski brothers’ live-action Speed Racer film as a hopeless exercise in ridiculousness. But the problem is that both trailers released show a movie that’s utterly drenched with style

Sure, there’s nothing special about the Apple iPod other than the fact that space-bound players’ “usual lithium battery must be replaced with specially designed alkaline alternatives to ensure safety standards are met.”

The hawk-eyed reader spotted the iPod from official NASA photos, which showed the device, barely visible, through a cabin window

With dual cameras, meaning more creative ways to snap pictures, this high-tech Motorola phone is strong on both aesthetics and features. No word yet on if this concept will go into production.

PICTURE: Mario in the Real World

If Nintendo were to produce a real-life Mario movie that stays true to the game, the main character might resemble the 3D render above.

If Mario was real, that’s one creepy plumber. Created with Photoshop CS2 and a bunch of random faces pasted over a 3d render of Mario from Nintendo

PICTURES: UFO Home Looks Out of This World

No, it doesn’t travel at warp speed, but what sets this UFO apart from the others is that you can actually live in it. Featuring “three floors, three bedrooms, two bathrooms, kitchen, living room and scenic view.”

UFO house, which has a single entry point via a button activated stair case, curved bar area and customized bathtub, as well as various UFO paneled controls throughout that are simply priceless, or so you would think
